We all know that there are too many Google AdWords marketers today that spend their time on keywords and ads, and they often leave their landing page out of their equation. By doing so, this will leave these marketers scratching their heads, wondering when their cost per click in their campaign remained high and the conversions remain low. Despite having all of the complicated theories on how to succeed with Google AdWords, one thing that comes to this one basic fact: Google will reward or punishes the advertisers based on how well they have solved the problem that every Google’s searcher has. To give you a better overview of things in Google, here are some of the elements for creating a landing page that Google AdWords will love to have on their site.
1) Delivering the promise of your ad – This is the biggest key for your success. If you have solved the searcher’s problems or issues, you will win. But, if your searcher clicks off of your page and they begin to look for another search, then Google tracks it down and penalizes you. In a short sense, Google will rewards sites that can deliver lower costs and has the increased impressions.
2) Make your page original – Unlike before, the mass produced “replicated sites” no longer work in this time. Google will value their searchers by providing unique and high quality information for them. Generally, your landing page is your opportunity to “wow” your visitor. You can do this by making your landing page unique, novel and personal. In the long run Google will soon reward by ending a search on your landing page and by lowering your cost per click and by increasing your number of impressions.
3) One page does not fit all – You need to be sure that the top of your page will match the ad they have clicked on. You need to maximize all of your conversions across all ads by creating a landing page for each ad that you have.
4) Get to the point – A perfect length in your landing page is exactly the same length as it takes too succinctly and effectively to convey your message to your searches. No more, no less.
5) Have a goal in mind for your visitors – Ask if you are trying to make a sale or to get a lead? You need to have a goal in your mind before you create your own page and write your copy for you to lead them to a conclusion. You need to focus on one goal per page.
6) Increase conversions with a bonus – Everyone will respond to “Free.” By adding a bonus to sweeten your deal will probably increase the conversions in your ad. Informational products will work great if they don’t cost you anything.
7) Credibility counts – if you are an experienced, successful business person. Then your page should convey the same thing. The graphics should augment all of your page copy, and not to compete with it. By leaving some white spaces on your page is a good thing. Don’t be too fancy in prepping up your landing page.
Be trustworthy – Trust is actually a major issue for online business. You make sure that anything that you do should be transparent. You need to put your member’s logo on your page, same thing for your site security certifications. You need to let your visitors know a little bit about you.
